Location Description

There are 8 trails on 81 acres of woodland that border the Saco River. It features undisturbed forest, shoreline wetlands, uniques steep sided streams and rich diversity of plant species. The outer loop takes about an hour or so at a moderate pace. The paths include board walks, bridges, one set of steps and many hills. There are four picnic tables descreetly located. No fires, camping or motorized vehicles.

How to Get There

Driving Directions:
Take 202 south, right after you cross the bridge from Buxton to Hollis turn left on Old Alfred Rd.  Parking lot will be on your left. Trail and kiosk with maps are just down river.
