Take Rte 1 North to Belfast. Turn right at the exit for Route7/137(Exit after the exit for Route 3) At the end of the ramp,cross Route 7,follow Field Street one block. Turn left onto High Street. Follow High Street across Route 1 where it becomes City Point Road. At the bottom of the hill is a large dirt parking lot. Park in the right hand corner of the lot. The entrance to the preserve is 100 yards further north on the left of City Point Road. Signs for the preserve mark the trailhead.
