to Follow the Route: |
Walking
directions for following the route:
The trail begins beside the railroad track to the right of Route 24 as you are facing the River. Follow the grassy roadway, approximately 1/3 mile. Watch for the mowed trail across a field to the left leading to a wooded area. This will take you to a picturesque point on the Cathance River. Please note, stay on the woodchip-defined path while in the wooded area. This segment is on private property, and to continue use, we need to be mindful of the owners request. Also, poison ivy and tics are concerns on either side of the trail.
