The Ovens Mouth Preserve is a unique 146 acre parcel of scenic shoreline bordered by swift tidal waters, quiet coves, and salt marshes. Of the three Boothbay peninsulas at Ovens Mouth, the preserve includes the middle and eastern peninsulas. There are 1.6 miles of hiking trails on the east peninsula and 3.1 miles of hiking trails on the west peninsula. The west peninsula is a more strenuous hike. The two peninsulas are connected by a bridge. |
