Walking directions for following the route:
The main trail is located approximately one quarter mile from the parking area, on the left about thirty yards beyond the gate which crosses the access road in the woods (not to be confused with the Maine Army National Guard gate). The trail is marked with blue blazes and will have multi use trail signs at most of the main intersections. This trail crosses many other unofficial trails along the route, but is fairly easy to follow.
